My husband, our two dogs, and I have called Ayer home for six years. When I’m not out with them in pine meadow or working on a quilt project you’ll usually find me reading. My favorite book is These Precious Days by Ann Patchett.
I’ve been part of the Friends of the Ayer Library for five years, and in that time I’ve come to love what this library means to our town. It’s not just a place to borrow books, but a real gathering place for our community. As a Friends board member, I’ve helped with fundraising, changing up our website, and restructuring our membership system. Professionally, I bring experience in data analysis and project management that I’m eager to put to work for the library.
I’m running for Library Trustee because I want to help Ayer’s library keep growing into a true third place: somewhere welcoming and vibrant where neighbors of all ages connect, and feel at home. The library has a strategic plan in the works, and I want to be at the table helping turn that plan into action, working alongside the board and Library Director Luke to make it a reality.
