Ayer Family Pharmacy Seeks Site Plan Approval to Add 10 Parking Spaces

(April 28, 2026) – Ayer Family Pharmacy is seeking site plan approval to add 10 additional parking spaces for the business.

The pharmacy currently operates on Park Street and the owner wants to add new parking spaces at 7 Park Street, a neighboring property it has acquired, according to the site plan review materials.

Combined, the lots cover .34 acres and sit in front of the commuter parking garage and the Nashua River Rail Trail. Here, we share two pages from the site plan document, which is available on the Town of Ayer’s website. This proposal falls within Ayer’s Downtown/Park Street Form-Based Code zoning district. The Planning Board opened the public hearing for this project on April 28th.

In January, the Ayer Planning Board granted site plan approval and a special permit for shared parking at 3-5 Park Street (see decision), where a four-story mixed use building is proposed. This land also falls within Ayer’s Downtown/Park Street Form-Based Code zoning district.

The 3-5 Park Street development will utilize off-site parking at 7 Depot Square, according to the site plan approval materials.
